Hi guys.
I have just aquired a 1998 C240 saloon with only 56000 miles on it and a full merc service history and am very pleased with it.
The only problem is that i get a judder from the front when i put the brakes on at high speed.
there is no wheel wobble at spped so the tyres must be balanced correctly.
Any ideas on what it could be before i take it to my local merc dealer to get ripped of!

brake drums or rotors need to be cut or replaced.shake the front end by jacking up front of car and pulling on the tires to chec for play in steering.either can cause your car to shake

 

Yes, my car is still facing this problem, my mechanic said that it is dirty brake pads and my friend said that it is normal because ABS (Antilock Braking System). anyone else has the same problem?
