CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE THE FUEL PUMP IS ON THE 2000,C230 KOMP.AND IF IT'S IN THE TANK IS ACCESS THROUGH THE TRUNK OR DO I LOWER THE TANK? THANKS. I'M TURNING 100.000 AND CAR OCCASSIONALLY LACKS POWER UPHILL BUT IS FINE OTHERWISE. TUNED IT UP WITH NEW COILS AND PLUGS AND WIRES ABOUT 2000MILES AGO. NEW GAS FILTER.

 

it is located under the vehilce, in front of the rear tires. it is hiding behind a panel, that i think is held on with 3 10mm plastic nuts.

repl the fuel filter at the same time, it is right next to the pump(if you have nat had it replaced at 60k.
