Very interested in getting one in the next few months, also been looking at 03-04 BMW 330s. I found out those have bad cooling issues and some have rear subframe issues as well. I was wondering what are the known issues for these year Mercedes? How well do these stand up to high mileage? Thanks for the all answers.

 

personally I would stay away, try to go with a C 320 maybe or C280 overall just better. depends on where your buying the car too.

whst i meant was where you buy it. dealer, private , independant dealer. just those engines have more issues than the ones that i stated. and the 230s in my opinion are underpowered

 

It would be a independent dealer most likely. Im not really focused on power, just a nice comfortable ride with good looks. What kind of problems are these engines experiencing?
