Hi,

I'm going to purchase either a 2001 Mercedes-Benz C240 or C320. The C240 I am thinking about purchasing has 64,111 miles on it and the C320 has 68,789 miles on it. What kind of maintenance can I expect to do soon on either of these cars? Both are from private owners that have done all recommended services for them from the Mercedes dealer, so they have all the paperwork. I just wanted an opinion from people who have owned these cars as to potential problems I could face down the road or what maintenance needs to be done in the near future. Thank for your help!!!

 

At over 100,000 miles expect on replacing everything. After I hit over the 110,000 mark I ve got a prob every month. its at 118,000 now and Im so fed up with it. I need to get rid of it. I dont take it to the dealer to save money. So far its been small $$ except for alternator. Got the part myself for $300 and someone put it in for $89. BUt these little problems are adding up!

 

go for the 320 the 240 is a bit underpowered.
