I have decided I want to buya Mercedes C class old style that is,I am unsure what model to go for,my current car is 150BHP and I have always had one witha manual gearbox,I would prefer one with a similar performance to the one I have now or greater BHP and one that would give a reasonable MPG,so far I have short listed the C220,C230 Kompressor,C280,I would like one with aircon and do any of these have traction control.</P>

c220 is slightly sluggish (me bro' had a 1992 model for 7 years, very good car), c230K has a supercharger and responds great, comes with "sport tuned" suspension which is nice but not trotty like a mustang 5.0 (but definitively not as aggressive), the new one says 28mpg highway, i have squeezed 32 on mine. C280 i guess gotta be like the latest c260, which I did not like 'cuz it screams "uncle" when driven (very smooth and comfy).
