1) Can you replace the tail lights on an '03 C230 Sports Coupe? I searched for tail lights for a short time but didn't find any.

2) The feature where the windows go up/down if you hold the lock/unlock buttons on the remote for one second no longer works, though it did originally. What could be the cause?

1.) I'm sure you can change the tailights, but I don't the access point on your model.

2.) Two thoughts: If you've disconnected the battery recently, you may need to follow a procedure to let the automatic systems reboot. OR, perhaps the auto up/down will only work when facing the drivers door and you're no more than a couple of feet from it.( this is the case with my C280.) BTW, this is not true for other commands from the remote.

I haven't disconnected the battery, and I have tried pushing the buttons on both sides of the car from very close.

 

You can change your tail lights to 2005 style. For remote window close/open, try it several time and it will work. Sometimes it does not work at once.

 

Sorry, I misunderstood your question about the tail lights. Thought you were looking to replace a bulb.

Another note on the auto open/close function. If the car is unlocked and you've been unsuccessful at opening all the windows, you'll need to lock the car again before you try auto open. Same with the auto close except in the reverse.
