Default 2 Questions

1. Are there any ways to improve the performance of my 2003 C230 Kompressor Coupe? (ECU, exhaust, cool air intake?) If so, how expensive? (Budget - $500 or less)

2. What size/kind of rims are recommended?

Thanks

Except for K&N air filter, the rest are over your budget limit. ASP Racing pulley kit is closest to your budget. For wheels, you have option to go with 18" or 19". It depends on your personal taste and suspension setup.

Thanks. I'll look into the Pulley Kit. Maybe I'll do some more stuff once a little more money comes in... lol

Edit: One question about the pulley kit: The description says that the AC, alternator, power steering, and water pump are slowed. Does this mean a drop in performance for any of them? IE would the air conditioner take longer to cool the car... (The car is black, with black leather, so it matters... lol)

Go to Barnes and Noble and pick up a copy of the Uk Magazine Mercedes Enthuisiast. Your car is a hot tuner Mercedes in the UK and there are several companies with loads of tricks for your car. Probably not legal in US and the difference between pound sterling and US Dollar and shipping, would probably make it prohibitive to buy.

Either late last year or early this year the magazine had a entire issue devoted to your car. It is too bad we can't get these performance items in our overregulated society called the United States?

But I am sure one of our advertizers or www.bekkers.com has "tricks" for your Benz

Thanks. I'll look into all of the legalities, etc. Hopefully at least some are legal... The Pound problem will probably be the biggest issue though. I have been to the UK twice now, and the numbers for everything seem to be the exact same... London is a great city, loved it - except for the weather... Oh well. I'll look into it all.

Thanks again
