Does anyone know what MB's official position is on using biodiesel in their diesel-powered cars?

nothing at all.

althought they have been experimenting on CNG (compressed natural gas) for two years now, they still can't perfect the regulator for mixing. always get faulty. it is done on city buses.

You may want to remember that biodiesel erodes your fuel line, so have those upgraded or replaced periodically.

Oil isn't expensive enough yet to make me want to put biodiesel through my car, but I want to be prepared, if I have to.
