Hi, i am facing a problem with a permanent stain which is on the inside of the windscreen of a 1993, W124 CE. It is white, 2-3cm wide starting from the edges and i believe it is connected with the humid area the car came from. Any solutions how to remove this stain will be very helpful, thanks very much.

 

Based on your humidity comments it could be "scale" similar to what forms in coffee makers. Try the product "CLR" which is used to clean scale deposits. If the glass isn't etched a simple razor blade may scrape off the residue as well.
