I don't know if anyone has ever had this problem. My C180 has suffered from a transmission leak which so far a MB dealer has not been able to fix. They first suggested it was leaking from the sump sender unit which was replaced. It still leaked so they suggested that it was the sump cover gasket, which they replaced. It still leaked so they cleaned up the sump and applied powder so they could see where it was coming from. When I took the car back they decided the sump cover was distorted, which they replaced, but it still leaks.

I have looked at the sump myself and it certainly seems to be coming from the gasket. The problem with the car is that it has no dipstick for the transmission, so you can't tell how much has leaked out.

I just wondered if anyone has had the same problem.
