I am looking to replace my check valve on my 2002 c230 komp 2.3L - I spent 6 hours trying to get it off and it just does not come off.

what tools do you use?? and how on earth does it come off when there is no room back there??

not sure of the size of the wrench , but an open ended wrench will work. and its on there tight. maybe a 22 or 24 mm wrench, spray it down with some rust off type spray and let it sit. then try to remove it. you can get a wrench on it, but it is a pain in the ***.
