Default S280 Runs down battery after 2days standing

My S280 2001 with 2002 spec. runs down the battery after 2 days if I do not start it. After switching off the car the amps drop to almost zero then switches to about 2.3A and them decreases back to about 0 and the process continues. It appears the something is switching on when the key is removed. Can any one help.

you have current drain.

a component which uses CAN is sending wakeup signal, that's why the other components cannot go to sleep mode.

normal consumption during sleep mode is 0.08 amperes. more than that... drain.

all you can do is to attach an ammeter while observing again the consumption.

remove the fuse of the following one at a time, until it goes to normal.

OCP,UCP, TEL, DCM's, SCM, COMAND, CD, etc.

try also to do it on CAN connector one by one. it is located just beside the OBD connector...inside.

Default Sleepwarker i new question

When the car is switched off cad the key removed, the LED light on the Mute function located to the left of the cassette slot blinks continuously off and on. Is the normal? Will this drain the battery? I cannot put it off.
