The alarm on our '01 C240 has recently started sounding at random. I have never had the alarm go off before, but now does so 3 or 4 times a day for no reason. The alarm sounds for about 15 seconds and then resets. Any ideas what causes this and what the fix is?

could be just a bad alarm siren, or could be a water leak into some electronics. you need to get it to a dealer so they can see what is causing the alarm triggers.
