I have an '02 CL500 & the shifter is stuck in park. I drove the car on Wednesday night, parked it & went out the next morning & it WILL NOT come out park. Ive tried spraying the non-lubicating cleaning spray & it is still not working. Any suggestions and/or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

on your model car get a rubber mallet and smack the top of the shifter while pulling it out of drive. gotta hit it pretty hard. if you have a keyless go button on the shifter than the shifter **** comes off easily.

 

Maybe a bad brake switch??
