Please help, I was driving down the highway when all of a sudden my car went dead, the car would turn over fine but it would not start, mechanic says it has no spark anymore. I had to replace the fuel pump relay several months ago , this relay has nine termination points to plug in. Does anyone know does this relay also control something to supply the spark ? Or does anyone have one of these, MB# 001 545 68 05(top line) 6650/min6Zyl.12V (bottom) from a 1982 280SE, Euro. Any thing to look at would be very helpful..Thanks.
