yesterday when i was pulling out onto an intersection the car all of a sudden lost all power/hp. I thought the engine stalled. Then all of a sudden the power came back and the car hauled a$$. Felt like a bad throttle position sensor or something. Has this every happened to anyone? No check engine or anything. The car is a C320 with 57k 01 model.</P>

when you were pulling out did the car lose traction? When the ESP system senses a loss of traction in either rear wheel, it will back off the throttle (throttle by wire) and grab the brake on the spinning wheel to add more power to the wheel with traction. Usually when this happens a bright yellow light will flicker on your speedometer.
