89 560 sel cis f.i. electro-magnetic pressure actuator problem im lost please help
it started with my fiance stuck in rush hour she was not happy it seemed like afuel problem go for a few miles thin die it would start bright back up and drive little then the same over so i checked fuel pressure ok changed fuel filter original did I mention it has 357780 miles still no better replaced coil seemed logical did not help it starts right up gets warm and dies so now i wiggle wires and I end up taking off the plug to the electro-magnetic pressure actuator and wala it didnt die any more so I take it off tap it afew times and run brake cleaner thu its only two screws but with it unplugged it wont start when cold I made it 12 miles and then it dies and i get out and unplug it and get on my way is it the empa or ficu ....ecu?/// how do I test it ?
it contradics because you have mentioned the the fuel pressure is okay, and yet got a defective electrohydraulic actuator?
was the difference between upper and lower chamber is 0.8 bar?
