K&N filter is equivalent to seat belts on an airplane: if it makes you feel better, go ahead and use it; don't expect much when you need it, though.
Might as well run with no filter. Dirt dirt dirt.

Meanwhile, millions of cars are using K&N filters and they aren't stalled on the side of the roads with "dirt dirt dirt" causing any problems whatsoever.

I'm sure you have mounds of real-world data proving damage caused by K&N filters. Or, is this just a theory you developed using your calculator during lunch one day?
