Default Air Filter help S430

Just ordered s430 air, cabin, and fuel filters from a forum sponsor.

How does the engine cover come off to access the air filters?

Also, where is the fuel filter?

NE1 know where I can get a shop manual (CD ROM preferred).

Thanks for any input.

I did a search and it seems the thing just pulls up. Does that also pull up the entire engine cover too.

I took a peek at the filter via the accordian pipe and the filter is filthy. Given that, I am going to do a full service now, coolant and brake fluid in addition to all the filters and of course 0w40 M1. Given it was a lease return, it likely had the minimim done. MB tells me no service to the tranny or diff, shocking!

I would also say that Autohaus Arizona has great prices, I got a cabin filter for the Odyssey well below the dealer price.

just grab it with both hands from both sides and tug it up snaply.
after that, you know already what to do.

the fuel filter is still under the car as usual. just in front of rear axle covered with black plastic.

Got it SW, thanks. On the front shroud, it looks like a couple of plastic tabs that snap fit are broken, old epoxy present and a little silicone seal. I'll re seal and re epoxy. Now I just have to wait for the filters to arrive.

I also got a shop manual DVD off of ebay for $18.

Anything special re: air in the fuel injection system when replacing the fuel filter?

Got it done, a breeze, luckily I have a set of Torx bits. The filters were absolutely filthy with granular dirt , whole and partial bugs. The cabin filter was equally filthy. Now to change the oil and fuel filter.
