I really like the functionality and level of Ipod integration that MB offers in their vehicles, but I'm concerned about compatibility with newer Ipod models. All the press releases and FAQs I've read, mention compatibility with older models such as Ipod Photo and Ipod Mini, that are not even sold anymore.

What about 1st and 2nd gen Ipod Nano that are being sold now? What about the latest 'big' Ipod models? has anyone had a chance to use one of these in their MB?

 

and is it possible to make a video ipod play videos on the screen of the command unit as well as play mp3s???!!!


PS how come not so many people try to do this? I also have an Audi A6 and ipod integration there took 20 minutes and 80 bucks for the adapter - works like a charm, had it for about 7 months now and no problems EVER!!!
