Hi All:

I have a 96 C280 with the single wiper.

The problem is that the wiper slows to a crawl when it gets to the middle of the windshield (vertical). It does continue moving but very slowly until it gets near the bottom of the stroke at which point it begins moving a little faster. On the return stroke, about the middle of the windshield, it slows down again.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

various things could affect this such as weak battery, faulty motor, hard/binding wiper blades.

hi i have you solution here all you have to do is remove the cover from the bottom of the wiper arm and lub the rod that moves up and down that show help.
