Dunno what happened. Mum musta hit it somewhere or something but the radio antenna at the back of my 1996 C200 doesnt go down fully now.. It stops in the last section at the bottom. Gets stuck or something. If you push it in it goes in then you turn radio off & on and it comes out ok but again goin down gets stuck on the last section...

Any tips on fixing it myself or I needa take it somewhere?

 

basically u need a new aerial as the last sections maybe slightly bent or the memory / motor on the aerial thinks its all the way in. best to get a bosch one , dont buy a cheapo 1 , as it may not fit properly or make a silly noise.

 

Whats average price on new antennas?

 

i dont really know the prices , but find one from a non mercedes garage ,as merc r too expensive.
