c200 kickdown problem HELP!!!
Could be 101 things.
You've done the obvious and checked the oil level. Did you use the correct procedure?
trans codes read to see if this gives any extra data. Get an SDS Star Diagnostics print out (chargeable) rather than some verbal explanation of what could be the problem. Facts are what is needed. Ensure dealer does not proceed past this data collection task unless you are happy to do so.
If no codes set, mileage / age / history / other issues are important to determining most likely cause.
The kick down switch is a possibility but IMHO I'm not sure that it is at the top of the list.
