What is the recommended oil for my 1998 SL500? What oil came in the vehicle when it was new? I cannot find it in my manuals. Where do I find this information as well as other recommended fluids for brake fluid, transmission fluid, antifreeze, etc.

 

check your owners Manual. should have come with full synthetic oil. 5w/30 or 5w/40 i think.
it should be in one of your manuals.
dot 4 brake fluid, MB trans fluid only !!!!!!
what color is the antifreeze in there now ???
