Hi,
My old Mercedes, would just stop when I got to half a tank of fuel. I put Startron in it at each filling.
As long as the tank was full it's ok. Finally it got scary and I never knew when it would start pulling
because the fuel filter would get so clogged. I would routinely change the inline fuel filter. I took it
to my mechanic, he drained the fuel tank and cleaned the screen, replaced both fuel filters. Says
it should run good for awhile, but there is still some crud in there he could not get out.
Should I Keep putting Startron in the gas tank with each fill up?
He said I should not have the problem of it pulling at half tank anymore.
