Hello, my 97 300D has been running perfectly. Recently, I started the car, pulled it into the driveway and went back into the house. When I returned, the car was not running. I have attempted to start the vehicle numerous times with no success. The engine cranks but won't start. I have fuel in the tank and in the filter. Any suggestions to help me out?

 

Did you get fuel some where diffrent or run low/ out before this? If water got to your filter it will plug it. It will have fuel in it but not let it through. You can pull the return line put it into a jug/bottle turn it over and check for fuel in it. It sounds like you lost fuel to your injector pump
