I replaced the turbo in my baby and now she lacks power. Backtracking--I had the injector pump replaced, glow plugs and wires, cleaned EGR, valves adjusted and she ran awesome. Then the turbo went out (sounded like a cat in a blender) I replaced that and she fires right up no problem. However, she won't get up over 10-15 MPH and lacks power. It has to be something simple that I'm over looking. Any thoughts?

 

Try changing your Fuel Filters and properly bleed the Air from the fuel system.

The Turbo has no effect during starting so it should not improve or hinder starting or your idle.

Try disconnecting and plugging the Vacuum Line to the Vacuum Shutoff on the Fuel Injection Pump.

Perhaps after you get the Car Going your EGR is sticking open. Try disconnecting the Vacuum line to it and plug off the Vacuum Line that goes to it as a test.

Do the above one at time so you can see which proceedure works or does not work.
