1992 300D 2.5, Need Advice Please

In USA we call it 300D even though it has 2.5 5-cylinder in Europe it is 250D. We never got 250D badges in USA but they gave us 2.5 engines with 300D badges.

I fixed the small images.
I noticed the engine warmed up slowly, maybe I am just used to the rapid warm up on the aluminum head V6 I now have. Is a slow warm up normal?
The minimum things I would do to start out with:
Fix headliner ($200)
Fix driver door window regulator ($200??)
Replace headlight lenses ($200?)
Replace right front door glass ($200)
Antenna ($100)
So right off I can see $1000 of stuff to do with me providing the labor.

Hi. i am from russia. excuse me, my english very bad. i use two models mercedes, w 124 250 diesel(engine602)1990 year and w 202 diesel(engine604) 1994 year . w124 have run 500000 km, w202 have run 300000 km. their engine work very well, run when outside it is -25
celsius. this mercedes very good, must carefully examine engine and turbine. front and rear axle very simple, repair them simply and not very expensive. i do it so afte shopping car , rebuilding all axle . enought about 2 years.

do you check oil presure hot engine? good pressure 2-3 bar, temperature engine 80-90 celsius degrees. this is engine also has aluminum head , if very long warmed up ,reason may be malfunction in the thermostat. it is not very bad and quickly change. it is not very well fuel pump dirty from the oil. repair fuel pump very expensive.

good oil pressure shows good engine (little wear engine). second mercedes looks very nice. what engine and year second mercedes?

The Injection pump is a bit grimy , looks to me that it is original, likely to require rebuilding at some point in the near future. Dents scratches and dings look a bit tacky and are hard to get rid of cheaply. I would price it in the $2500-3000 range. Also looks like the underhood area has been heavily Armoralled. Cheers Dan
