Default 1987 300dt fuel delivery issue

Car has been running perfectly for the two years I've had it (except I've had to turn it off with the shut off switch under the hood for the last 2 or 3 months). Two days ago it just would not start. On the first attempt it started to catch but didn't (like it was cold). Every other attempt was like it was completely out of fuel. I cracked open the nuts before and than after the fuel pump and got a slow flow at both points when cranked. I opened the nuts at two injectors and there was only about a half thimble of fuel that came out of each after a long crank. Could somebody please help me with this? I'm on a very limited budget and need to do the work myself. Thank you for any tips.

In case someone has this same issue. Reading past posts on this forum, there was a similar post that suggested checking the fuse in the glow plug relay box. Sure enough it was fried. Replaced the fuse and it started with the first crank.

Some other problems they can cause is they can crack. When I first looked at mine I did not notice the crack and thought it was OK. Later when the light was better I saw the Crack.
See Pics.
I had a new Fuse but was afraid to keep it in the car as I thought it would get lost. But, I could not remember where I put it either. So, I put the pictured Clip on and drove the Car like that until I found the Fuse abuot a week later.

Another issue I have read about is a where a person found both of the Fuse screws loose.
