I have a ride that falls on its face after a few miles of driving. Was running rich. I have installed new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, condenser and points. Seemed to change dramatically, then within a couple days, same ol problem. I dont understand the fuel injection process and suspect that is the problem.After the car warms up to operating temp it goes into rough running, stumbles, pings,extreme loss of power and soon dies. If its not under a load it can sometimes be kept running but to no avail once put back in gear. The only thing to do is wait a while,"cool down" than haul *** home. There is a new fuel pump. Im wondering about heat sensors or metering devices, something like that, and again I know little on this subject. Any help would be wonderfull !!!!!
