Oh what a DAY!! when to go to work this morning and after 1 mile down the road the Engine on my CLK 200 Komp seized. A visit from the AA and a independent mechanic later and i'm looking at a £1600+ repair bill. can anyone advise me on a reasonable asking price if i was to try and sell the car with the engine in its current state its a pre face-lift avantgarde with 90K. i was recently offered 4200 in a trade in but obviously that's out the window. any advise would be greatly appreciated. I'm worried that the 1600 could turn into 2600 and i know of some other ****les that will be due to develope and effect the life of the car so i'm thinking cut and run!
