Locked wheel on '89 190E 2.6
Hi all,
I own a 1989 190E 2.6, 5sp. Manual. The car is really fun but I have not been able to drive it in a while. I have a '95 Diesel which is my daily car, and my wife drives a new Subaru. As a result, my '89 has not been driven or started in about 8 months. I am now looking to sell the car. I put the battery back in and it fired right up. When I relased the parking brake and shifted into reverse, the car was raising up like the brake was still on. Upon further inspection, it appears as though the driver's side rear wheel is locked up, and I think the parking brake has locked that wheel because there is very little tension in it after I released the brake initially. The car's brakes were replaced less than a year ago. Any thoughts as to why this would be happening? Any do-it-yourself repair hints?
Thanks folks...great forum.
