I have a ticking sound coming from in the area of the carb, under the aircleaner. Any ideas what is is?

 

First off, that car has fuel injection; no carbs.

Ticking could be valves or maybe an exhaust leak.

Timing chain tensioner could do it, too, but the sound would come from the front of the engine.

Probably valves...
