worst car you ever owned

RE: worst car you ever owned
One of my Broncos was recalled because the front bumper apparently would fall of. It never did, of course. Never even got loose. They changed the bumper bolts because the bolts were supposedly defective and would break.

I'm not talking about the whole Focus line.
I'm talking about the brand new redesigned ones. Remember that Focus was out in Europe since 1998. And they released the new designed ones over here first. And I haven't seen American soil in a while and don't know if the new ones such as the diesel ones and such made it over there yet or are they still on the old body style like they was when I left.

In the States, the Focus still runs on the original C170 platform (subframe), and probably will untill 2007. In Europe they switched over to the improved C1 platform a year or two ago. However, if one wants the new platform, they only need buy a Mazda3. Euro Focus and Mazda3 riding on same platform.
As far as body style goes, there are differences btwn US and Euro; which are more significant than they everwere before. But here in the States, Focus got a face lift in 2005. I don't think Ford will bring a diesel Focus to the States-just my opinion.

How is this any different than any other recall?

Even when evidence is right infront of them? A lot?
This reminds me when police officers back in the 90's were complaining about fuel leakage in their Crown Victoria's. If someone happened to rear-end them in a pursuit, or just in general, there was a huge chance the gas tank would fracture and cause a fire. I believe 6 or so officers had to die before Ford had no other alternative to fix the problem. If it were any other manufacturer, they would have jumped onto the problem as soon as possible, no court rants...especially an American automanufacturer..

Does anybody remember the Audi A4 with auto trans?
We can go back and forth for weeks on this if you want. Just give me some time and I'll give you a bunch more examples. I'm eating a sandwich right now. Ford's not innocent, but neither are the other car makers.
