reckless driving

RE: reckless driving
It's also the dirtiest, filthiest place I've ever worked. Everything is covered in grime. If you walk in the rain, your shoes will start to turn black. I hated to touch anything. Walking the sidewalks is like walking on a sticky restroom floor.
I had to dodge aggressive homeless beggars every morning trying to get to my office. I knocked one on his *** for blocking my wife trying to get change from her.
The roads have not been improved or repaired in decades.
The area destroyed during the infamous race riots still have not been rebuilt.
DC sucks.

Yes the roads do suck, but hell the metro is the best way to get around the city anyway. I've been much dirtier places. I've lived here for 11 years and haven't once had my shoes turn black in the rain, not quite sure whare you were walking Lug. Beggers are in every big city, and I don't blame you for kicking the **** out of one that gets agressive. But I don't think that has anything to do with the city. I've been bugged by beggers in cities from coast to coast and in several other countries and they all seemed the same to me. Anyhow to deny the lure of DC is obviously lost on the millions of people that come here year after year.
