Starmark Warranty Fraud

Starmark Warranty Fraud
Be very careful when purchasing a Mercedes with Starmark warranty. It voids once the vehicle is sold more than once and there is NOTHING in the booklet that mentions this. It is a complete bogus program and a total ripoff, nothing other than a bait-and-switch type of fraud. They just keep the warranty money, but if the vehicle changes hands a couple of times, it's all over.

RE: Starmark Warranty Fraud
I just got off the phone with Mercedes. They were extremely defensive and actually rude. although I have the booklet, they took it off the system and the dealer won't accept the booklet. Apparently, it's transferable only once. Without the terms and conditions, you're simply at their mercy.

RE: Starmark Warranty Fraud
I've contacted MBUSA myself and your correct they are rude, very rude. So are one of the dealers around here.
As far as starmark on my contract it say it is transferrable to the new owner. As I said singular in meaning. I wouldn't expect, them or any car company to keep on transfering and transfering to owner after owner. Bad business sense IMHO. It is only a year of coverage after the new car is over in my case. I really don't see what the problems is here?
