Thanks for letting me join up.

We have a 1977 280E - four-door. We just had about $1700.00 of engine work done to get the car running strong again. There are some problems with the car - interior bench seat has almost disintegrated on the driver's side, minor damage to the right front grill, power windows have been disconnected. Other than that the car is in great condition, and she just flew on a recent trip to Las Vegas and back.

With all of the gas price stuff going on right now, it probably wouldn't go for what we put into it if we decide to sell it.

Should we salvage the vehicle, or part it out ??? or.......

Any advice would be much appreciated.
