Just picked up my first mercedes last week. Got a '84 300d from a guy in Ontario, CA. Thought it'd be a great idea to get into a veg-powered car. Already has a growing list of repairs. Anyone know of a reliable tech in Southern California?

don't know what state you live in, but it's legal to drive on WVO in california.
there are laws about biodiesel that include WVO. you are allowed to make your own fuel as long as you pay fuel tax for what you use. people who choose to sell the fuel they make have to get licenses for production. it is a regulated/taxed viable fuel alternative.

so check your states' laws

 

Hmm I Heard you could Actually Get it written off on you're Taxes for running youre rig on CLEAN HOME MADE FUELS.
And Hey Diesel engine's Where made to run on Peanut Oil soo run WVO make sure you get the right set-up and do it right. And im sure you will.
