My 2003 c230 kompressor manual transmission clutch pedal was "soft" and had problems shifting gears / choppy. Then clutch pedal finally stopped bouncing back from depressed for gear engage/change and remains stuck to floor .Can't shift gears as pedal inoperative to disengage clutch to shift gears

Thanks. But the brakes were / are working fine Its just the clutch pedal thats inoperative.
Thus, the brakes Master Cylinder seems fine
Could be some other cylinder ?
