Hi , I am the owner of a C270 CDI 2005 model.

I have problem with my glow plugs.
The glow plugs light and check engine lights came on and by with the aid of a scanner I ascertained a error code P0380.
A check of the glow plugs confirmed that numbers 3 and 5 were faulty. I then replaced all five glow plugs and after installing them I checked the plugs and the terminal connectors by running a test from the relay.

However the problem did not go away. When I use the the car the lights come on in the morning but sometimes go off later during the day..
The strange thing is that when I start the car in the morning the lights stay off but as soon as I move the gear selector out off park the lights immediately come on and stay on.

Can somebody please assist me?
