Default Replaced glow plugs, car still starts rough

Hey guys I need a little advice here

i just changed the glow plugs on my 99 e300td but the check engine light and the glow plug light is still on. The car will NOT start in the morning without spraying quick starting fuel in the intake as if i didnt even change the glow plugs. I went to my mechanic today and he told me that 3 of my glow plugs are not working. How is that possible? I bought 6 brand new glow plugs! Also when i ran the codes on the car these two codes popped up:
P0380 - glow plug / heater circuit "a"
P1369 - mfr ctrolled ign or misfire

could i have done something wrong when i was installing the new ones? could it be the glow plug relay?

help

I'm have the exact same problem - No cold starts & codes P0380 and P1369. My glow plug light on the dash does come on, and I have continuity through the glow plugs and voltage on all six connectors on the relay.

My question is, did you ever figure out a fix for your car? If so, what was it?

BTW, I have a 1999 E300 TD with 138K miles

Yea I actually did figure it out, it was a combination of things for me. I had a bad glow plug relay, which cost me about $120 from the local benz dealer and I had a few bad BRAND NEW glow plugs. As in the company where I was ordering the glow plugs kept sending me duds. I ordered 6 glow plugs from them, 3 of them were duds lol.
Hope this helps!
