Hi, nice to find this site. My ride is experiencing problems running rich. I replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor, points and condenser. Seemed to help about 90%. But within a couple days was back to same ol problem. It is a 6 cylinder,gas, fuel injection. As the motor temp heats up (normal operating temp) the car goes into severe lack of power, pinging,missfire, and dies. After a "cool down" period it starts right up and runs fine until a few miles than repeats process. Is there some kind of sensor that could be bad, filter, relay, etc p.s. a new fuel pump was installed about six months ago.
