I'm working on a '73 220 D & can't get it started. The owner had 2 sets of new glow plugs put in but it still won't start. I put an engine heater in today, but no luck yet. I'm wondering what else to do? Is there a switch that I should replace that controls the glow plugs ?

Check the glow relay and if there are fuel leaks. Check compression plus the diesel forum on the site also. Welcome
