I just purchased a 98 SL500 and the roll bar light shows that it's up but it's not. The rocker switch blinks when trying to unlatch Hardtop and that is supposed to mean that the roll bar down microswitch is bad or out of adjustment maybe. Does the roll bar have to be up to locate the roll bar down swtich and if so can I raise the Roll bar manually? Or can I get to the switch elsewhere.
