Just bought SLK320. Can I use regular gas? My friend has been using it in her 320, and runs great.

 

I have a 98 SLK230 and, until recently, have always used premium fuel. I have run a few tanks of regular unleaded through the car now and noticed that while it might lack a little bit of 'zip', it seems to run just fine. I decided though to return to premium. I figure that if I can afford something as unhealthy as McDonalds, I can probably handle a couple of extra bucks for good gas.

 

You are probably right. I did go to middle grade gas, and car still runs great w/ 28.5 mph/ gal. going 80 mph.

I use mid grade without ethanol. Mine runs great also.
