HI PAUL FROM ENGLAND .... MY PROBLEM IS WENT AWAY WORKING FOR A MONTH... CAME BACK ..TRIED TO START MY CAR ...BATTERY A BIT FLAT SO TRIED A FRIEND WITH JUMP LEDS AND ALARM WENT OFF... ALARM HAD NOT BEEN USED FOR A WHLIE .. NOW I CAN NOT START CAR OTHERWISE ALARM. GOES OFF.. WOULD DISSABLING THE ALARM MAKE A DIFFERENCE.. THANKS FOR ANY ADVICE...

if your system don't use remote key, then you can try disconnecting the unit and see if it can be started (under the passenger foot panel).

jump starting it was just a coincidence, but your problem may lie on some faulty door or trunk lid micro switch.

it is better to check and repair it. you might get problem with insurance if the car is stolen without alarm.
