Default slk230 latch actuator cylinder

I assume that is what it is called, the cylinder in the center front of the top that trips the latches when lowering the roof. 1999 model. The cylinder on mine is leaking and I was wondering if these are repairable. It looks like it is held together with a snap ring, may just be an o ring seal. Also, do the hydraulic lines to this go all the way to the pump. From what I can tell they appear to go in the bottom of the pump, looks like it would be a bear to replace. I assume this part is expensive new, just a guess. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
