I am having difficulty with my 1998 230SLK, when I brake to and come to a stop the car stalls. The gearbox changes perfectly. The car starts immediately when in neutral but happens only when stopping in drive. Anyone have any ideas, please.

 

cel? I'd start with the obvious bad connections, especially at the k40 relay/module. check for broken or cracked vacuum hoses. may want to pop apart the k40 module to check for cracks around soder joints.
