Hi all, just bought my first benz, 99 slk.
Totaly excited, anyway I bought the cd changer on line and believed it was plug and play, well plugged it in, one power one optical and the head unit does not detect the cd changer? I can eject the cd cassett and add cd's and insert the cd's, that's it. Does the radio need to be coded or what am I doing wrong?

usually the fiber optics need to be configured correctly and version coding needs to be done with benz equipment.
