Does anyone know what is going with my car, my fog lights just wont turn off i had to wait for 30 min b4fore it turn off by it self, by the time my battery is dead,, freakin car !!!

I'm currently having the same problem. Mine was making a faint hissing sound from the area of the switch. I haven't messed with it yet, except to disconnect the mostly drained battery. I washed the car a week ago and have kept it garaged since. About five days after washing it, the fog lights came on by themselves.

I had similar problems a year ago after a severe rainstorm. The fog lights came on by themselves, then other problems cropped up: alarm going off for no reason etc. The used car dealership I bought it from sent it to the MB dealership for repair. I'm told they replaced the whole wiring harness, but I got no paperwork and I'm skeptical. Anyway, there's no warranty (unless the MB dealership warrantees their work), so I'm hoping we'll get some good advice. - John
